This is it! I’m 40, so am I different now? A little bit I guess …. Have I acquired greater wisdom? Well yes! compared to an elementary student! haha! The truth is,  the only thing I have gained wit all these years is by hiding the real me. It’s like I’m trapped in this world of “Adulting”. I know it doesn’t really makes sense coz technically I’m an adult … it’s just that … well I don’t know… it feels like I have this inner “kid” inside me that wants to be set free. At this age, believe me, I still want to watch cartoons, and yes i know, news are rather important to watch than that. And whenever my friends and I decide to meet, we go to this classy resto and have dinner and few drinks, but gosh, I can’t help but looking at the other side of the street where there are  a lot of youngsters hanging out, partying and drinking like there’s no tomorrow! And with a deep breathe, I look back to my friends and secretly whisper in my head – “well, aren’t we boring now a days!”

So I ask, why is it again that we need to be “boring” when we reach this age? And why does society becomes so judgemental when aged women does such activities? You would hear … “it wouldn’t be appropriate for a woman my age to do such!”. So many limitation, so many things to consider… your family, your job position, your churchmates and not to forget the expectation of people because of your age. It seems that the more we gain age, the more we are contained in a box. Aren’t we suppose to have more freedom now since we are better people now compare when we were younger?  haha. I guess I’m not the typical 40’s 🙂

Crazy me, right? haha, anyway, I think I have pretty much gained my stance as an adult since most people tend to come for my advise. It seems that anything that comes out from my mouth becomes their wisdom! (well most are really my life story). Probably that’s one of the consolations of getting gray hair.

And so I thought……maybe I can share it to more people ….. and maybe, just maybe….. they can dig  wisdom on these life stories…
